Liberty SKY features a full 21st-floor Sky Deck with a year-round pool and hot tub, an outdoor lounge with BBQ grills, and a clubroom with billiards and theater. The building also includes a 24/7 fitness center and studio, controlled-access entry, and a pet-friendly dog run. Every apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows, quartz countertops, and smart home features. High-speed internet is included through the technology fee — no separate provider needed.
Liberty SKY offers the most parking availability of any high-rise community in downtown Salt Lake City. The controlled-access garage includes one assigned parking space for every apartment at $99/mo. Spaces are pre-assigned based on apartment location. Need a 2nd space? Additional spaces are available at $120/mo — check with the leasing office for availability. Bike storage with a repair station is also available.

Liberty SKY is located at 151 South State Street, right in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. You’re steps from restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and public transit. The building offers panoramic mountain and city views from 21 stories up, with the Wasatch Range as your backdrop. It’s one of the most walkable locations in the valley.
The standard lease term is 14 months, and most promotions (including free rent and free parking) are based on a 14-month lease. Shorter terms are available with a rent premium. After your initial lease term, you can move to a month-to-month arrangement, which also carries a premium. Rent is due the first of the month, with late fees beginning on the third. If you need flexibility on payment timing, we’ve partnered with Flex to offer alternative payment schedules.
The application fee is $55 per applicant (age 18 and over). As part of the process, we run a credit report and background check, which may affect your security deposit amount. Applications can be submitted online at LibertySkY.com.
Renter’s insurance is not required. There is a required insurance waiver charge of $15/mo. If you already have renter’s insurance coverage, provide proof and the waiver fee is removed.
We are a pet-friendly community with a two-pet-per-apartment limit. Dogs and cats are welcome. There is a one-time pet fee of $400 per pet at move-in, a $200 refundable pet deposit, and monthly pet rent of $45 per pet. Breed and weight restrictions apply. Assistance animals are welcome.
If you have a pet, you’ll need to arrange an appointment with our office team before moving in to complete an animal agreement and pet security deposit. Contact the leasing office for full pet policy details.
Liberty SKY is a non-smoking community. Smoking, vaping, and tobacco or nicotine products are not permitted inside apartments, on balconies, or in any common areas.
No. Subletting, short-term rentals, and listing on platforms like Airbnb or Vrbo are not permitted. All occupants must be listed on the lease agreement.
Liberty SKY does not offer income-restricted or subsidized housing. Our parent company Cowboy Properties manages several sister communities in the Salt Lake City area that do. Visit CowboyProperties.com to explore those options.
