Do you offer affordable housing?

Cowboy Properties and Cowboy Partners are proud to provide affordable housing in the greater Salt Lake valley. Of our 19 properties, 12 offer affordable housing opportunities.

Do you accept housing?

Yes.

Can I be added to your waiting list?

Each community maintains a separate waiting/courtesy call list. Please contact the community directly to be added to the list. Some of our affordable housing communities may require you to fill out a form to be added to the list.

When is my rent due?

Rent is due on the first of the month. The date that late fees are charged varies by property. If you are struggling paying your rent on the first of the month, we have partnered with Flex to offer you flexibility on dates you can pay your rent.

Is there an application fee?

Yes. The application fee is required for each member of the household 18 and over. Married couples may fill out a single application. All non-married adults must each fill out a separate application.

Are there additional required fees?

A security deposit is required. Residents are responsible for utilities (utilities are included at Liberty Metro). Additional fees vary by property, which may include but are not limited to, parking fees or media package fees.

Do you run a credit report and background check?

Yes.

Are pets allowed?

Liberty Sky accepts pets. Assistance animals are welcome at all of our communities. Please contact us for additional details.

What if I don’t move in on the first day of the month?

Rent and all fees will be prorated for that month.

What is the shortest lease that you offer? Do you offer month-to-month leases?

The shortest lease that we offer on market units is three months and the shortest lease on affordable housing units is six months. We offer an option to go to a month-to-month lease after your initial lease term on both leases.

Is renters’ insurance required?

No, but an insurance wavier is required at some of our communities.

Is the community non-smoking?

Yes, all of our communities are non-smoking.

I want to sublet my apartment or put my apartment on Airbnb. Is this allowed?

No subletting of apartments in any form is permitted.
